Kids Dojo, a nonprofit( 501C3) on a mission to have kids be active and healthy and build confidence through mountain biking.
We believe that mountain biking builds self-esteem and enables children to experience the great outdoors while keeping their heart healthy and finding an exercise they love and can do for life. Our program teaches basic mountain biking skills to kids 8-14 in a fun safe environment.
Our non-competitive program is designed to meet each rider at their ability and enable them to flourish and become conscientious, controlled and self-confident cyclists.
Our after-school programs and summer camps are designed for kids who are just beginning, intermediate or advanced. Our goal is to serve children of all economic backgrounds to be able to experience the joy of riding and be able to participate in our programs.
Kids Dojo operates Santa Cruz, Los Gatos, Walnut Creek, Palo Alto, Belmont, Stanford and Aptos.
Part of the Kids Dojo mission is to be able to provide kids in need an opportunity to experience mountain biking. We offer scholarships and equipment to enable them to enjoy a week of summer camp or after school.
We rely on the generosity of individuals and businesses for support. Without the assistance of community-minded individuals just like you, we wouldn’t be able to serve those in our community.
How you can help
Your commitment to support our mission can make a difference in a child’s life.
Cash Donations allow us to continue to supply the bikes, equipment, vans, and staff to get kids riding.
We have the infrastructure and the process; your donation goes directly to scholarships and to ensure bikes and equipment are available for all kids on scholarship
You can also help us by recommending kids or groups of kids that need financial assistance. We are always looking for volunteers as well.
